14/6/19 – “My husband has had no hearing in his left ear for almost 20 years, so he recently had a cochlear implant. He had it switched on last week and is absolutely thrilled with the results. The day it was ‘switched on’, we went for lunch at a very busy venue in Brisbane, and despite the background noise in the place, we were able to hold a conversation! Can’t remember the last time we did this. One week on, and his hearing is improving daily. We’re so excited about what our future holds now. We can’t praise Dr Lomas and Karen enough.”
